14. Using the phone before bed is a terrible habit
A lot of us think that reading a book on your PDF or E-book reader will help you fall sleep, but this is nowhere true. Devices like phones, tablets and TV screens project blue light that act as a stimulus to the brain, preventing it from producing melatonin. The latter is a hormone secreted by our brain to help us fall asleep. This could simply be fixed by keeping all your devices away at night. Moreover, it will give your brain some time to rest and calm down. If this remains a unbeatable habit, see if your phone has the option of reducing blue light.
